My wife, daughter and I stayed at the Napa valley Marriott Hotel & Spa situated just
outside Napa for two nights. The room was decent-sized with plenty of closet space, a
good working area, and comfortable beds. Don't bother with the restaurant as it's
overpriced and not that good plus there are literally 20-25 top-rated restaurants within a 20 minute drive. We dined at Mustards & the Napa Valley Grill and both were excellent with great service, superior quality and nice ambience. Also, the fitness center is great: lots of treadmills, weights and TV's to keep you occupied while you're sweating. Parking is plentiful with nice large spaces so you don't have to worry about dinging the car next to you when you get out.
The hotel charges for internet service which I found to be cheap and annoying. I travel for business a lot and very few chains charge to connect and Marriott shouldn't either. Two other problems related to tempature. There isn't a thermostat so you either leave the heat on and wake up hot or leave it off and the room is cold in the morning.
The other issue is the water tempature in the shower. In two of my four showers the
tempature kept changing from mildly cold to downright scalding.
