We stayed there for two nites in April for about $148/nite. The hotel was, in my opinion,
worth the money, especially if the weather is sunny. Located across Highway 1, there is a
stairway to the beach directly across the street. It's a very attractive hotel, lots of
potted flowers, with a small pool, hot tub area and a balcony ledge in the front of the
hotel where there are tables. The ad is misleading though. You can only see a sliver of
ocean. Our room with two double beds was smallish, but the bathroom area has a two person
jazuzzi tub. There's a very long counter and one sink. The lavatory is separate with a door.
There is only a cafe door between the bedroom and the bathroom.
Continental breakfast was included. Bagles & cream cheese, sweet rolls, fruit juice,
coffee.
Numerous restaurants are within walking distance.I especially liked Koffee Klatch, a
cyber cafe, which served one of the best lattes I've ever had.
The best feature is of course the beach. It is divine, even in foggy weather.
I saw dolphins feeding off shore, and a seal swimming in the crest of a wave.
Early morning is wonderful, a few walkers, dog runners. GREAT!
